Local Teen Helps Get Billboard In Search For Giovanni Gonzalez

LYNN, Mass. -- A local teenager is helping to get out more information about a missing 5-year-old boy who was last seen in August.

NewsCenter 5's Jim Boyd reported that Giovanni Gonzalez was last seen on Aug. 16 with his father, Ernesto Gonzalez, who is being held at the Middleton House of Corrections on a child endangerment charge.

Clear Channel is providing a billboard, free of charge, which will be going up next week in Lynn's Wyoma Square. It will include pictures of Giovanni and his father.The billboard was the idea of Richard Yearwood, 16, who said he wants to make sure the community does not forget about the child."You know, maybe they didn't see the smaller poster and they would be able to see the billboard and know that Giovanni is missing," Yearwood said. full story boston
